AA: When you place those wooden rods in there, does that provide just as much bracing than any other box? Because if so, then I would say this technique has a greater benefit since it LOOKS to save up internal space.

It made it easier to fit the ports in, and 35hz tuning isn't really that high. Am I really going to be able to notice a dramatic difference between 33hz and 35hz tuning? The box is going to be loud enough as is, I don't think I'll be losing much on the bottom end
