Ok guys, I am going to do my best to describe my setup and goals for my next system. Please help if you have had experience with any of these subs!

Right now I am running:

2007 Chrysler 300C

1- Fi Q15

4 cubes tuned to 30 hz.

Cadence iA7

Optima Battery

Big 3

I really like my Q but I want something LOUDER. I am willing to sacrifice some SQ for SPL. I miss my head splitting bass!!! However I DO NOT want to rid of the low end output that i love so much. Im sure any of these subs will sound good enough to suit my needs... that being said which one will be the loudest and still low on approx 1200w RMS power and i will make a new ported box to suit any subs need.

I will be replacing my Fi Q15 with any 2 of the following:

(2) DC Level 3 12's

(2) Skar VVX 12's

(2) SA-12's

(2) IA Lethal Injection 12's

None of those will out perform the Q while keeping lows like you described. All of those subs yield a ton less xmaxx and motor force. Look into the dc lvl4 XL, BTL, TC lms r, but the one I highly reccommend is a TC sounds AXIS. That'll eat the Q.

I recommend learning your vehicle and box skills and do a new box. The box will yield better results. If you want more SPL, you can raise tuning and see.

Build a higher tuned enclosure for the Q. Should yield more SPL out of what you already have.

I would try another box before you spend hundreds on new subs. Just in case you can still get what you want out of the Q. Try tuning around 35, see if you like it.

I have Infinity Kappa 3.5's in the dash, JL XR Midbass 6.5's in the doors and Infinity Kappa 6x9's in the rear deck.

And the Q15 is out of commission right now and that is why I am interested in new subs. I have not heard the SA's or the Skar's so I was looking for opinions. I figured 2-12's in a ported enclosure tuned slightly higher than the Q would be louder with the same given amplifier power... am I not right? I thought adding an additional sub with more total surface area would benefit me and give me what i was looking for. Please elaborate on this guys, I'm interested in learning something new.

*not promoting one over the other, just what i have read.*

Between the skar's and the SA's the skar is said to be more of a lower end sub performer, (not quality, it just "likes" the lower notes) compared to the SA which was built with a little bit spl goal in mind. They're pretty darn close to each other though, there are a lot of deals going on with skars right now too, check their section out.

What's wrong with the Q?
