I am not against someone buying me gifts, but touching my settings again will have him drawing back a nub! When I get the rest of my electrical installed, I think he will change his mind. No sense breaking stuff when is on the way.

That happened to me not to long ago. I ended up hard wiring the constant power on the HU to the battery. Fixed it right up.
