Dual 12" L7's ?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all the input guys. I know its been awhile and some things came up and so far all I have done is get a new head unit and put my old sony in the boat. I still like the L7's, I think that is going to be the plan. Is the zx1500.1 the best way to go for an amp, or is there a cheaper option that is just as good? I asked about Hifonics Brutus amps, but I don't want my subs to be underpowered.

Thanks again.

I own a Cadence ZRS-7500D.

I don't believe that amp has an adjustable SSF. I don't know if your going to be running ported or not and you may not need one, but its good to know. IMO you would be much better off with an amp from sundown for the money. There's nothing wrong with L7's despite what you may hear. They need a lot of volume to perform well which can be an issue depending on the amount of room you have. I think you can find a better sub for that kind of money. Have you considered just running a single 15 in a good ported enclosure?
