Can someone explain the specs to me..

I was looking into the SA-15 and looking at this spec sheet confused me. The specs for a sealed box are only implied for a D2 version of the subwoofer and the ported for a D4. Is this specific recommendations or can either subwoofer work for either enclosure type and size?

Don't want to seem stoopid but I've never seen it explained that way before, so I had to ask....

Coil config doesn't effect enclosure volume.

Or sealed / ported in your case

It's just the table confusing you.

I think it was set-up like that to make it easier to see sealed and ported configurations for each woofer, the coil configs do not affect the enclosure as stated above.

Its not retarded, just makes sense. Two box specs, two places to put it, under each coil config. Makes for a clean chart lol.
