I may have over looked this, but how long ago did you place your order?

I know waiting on a 'checking on it' is not easy, but trust me its well worth it.

SSA is one of the most professional car audio stores on the internet. They deal with top notch companies and do their work well.

I wish I knew as much about the sub as you guys do, next time this information presale would be preferable

At least it's clear that the forum members are able to contribute to the customer service so thanks for the reassurance

WELL worth the wait! When I ordered Sundown products from SSA it was very speedy :) Im sure they are just backed up at Sundown because duhh.. everyone wants some SA Subs, they freakin pwn :morepower1: Dont blame SSA they are honestly the most legit internet site for audio stuff! I always feel safe orderin here and everyone is super friendly!

I ordered a Sundown SA-8 just last week and received it in 3 days. I also got e-mails from SSA every time something changed with the status (received, processed, shipped), I must say SSA is one one the best companies I have ordered from online. With that being said, I have to assume that they are probably a little backed up at Sundown as the 12's are probably one of their more popular items. You should try and work things out by e-mail with the company before you go posting in their forum about how horrible their shipping is. Patience is a virtue!

Ok, let's relax a little. :) A little general message not pointed at anyone in particular.

All emails in terms of order questions should be going to support@ as I answer that email nearly round the clock. As explained above, many products are built to order, and many others are drop shipped, some are both. As I responded in a few emails over the last week, that the delay on a few orders as of late is not usual, a few companies have fallen somewhat behind due to SBN. This is how it is with small brands, you gain much higher value and performance for your dollar, but most of these products were not built last year collecting dust just waiting for someone to order with an stock room person on deck to run things to the UPS truck the moment it is ordered. Many products are drop shipped to save YOU the customer money. These smaller high end brands do not have the massive mark up's that a brand you will see in Best Buy does, so the man power is not there. As for money processing, we are not changing the timing of the money transaction, for one we can't and two, we have been scammed/e-theft a enough and know it is not smart to lay our money out and not collect until the product is shipping.

Over the years people have gotten very nasty with me and I have always been very polite and explained everything in detail if there is a delay. Even when there is no delay and everything is running on time, people are still rude and nasty at times, even with timing/availability is explained right on the product page. A big issue still as that the buying experience is a total different process then it is when you walk into a physical store and can walk out with the product that moment. In addition, just because the SSA Store is online 24/7/365, that does not mean someone is awake waiting for you to email or place an order at all hours, so for those people who order something late late Saturday night and then send a harsh email Sunday afternoon wondering where their tracking is, please take a moment and think about how this all works before you start getting nasty and demanding.

Something else people don't understand is that these products are coming from all over the country. Now in this case with a Sundown sub woofer, there is nothing I can do to make the order go any faster (shy of getting on a plane to NC and shipping out the sub myself, which some people expect me to do), we process orders very quickly.

If people want to pay higher prices for a little faster shipping, that can be done, but with the relentless demands for hook-up's, sponsorships (with no accomplishments), buddy discounts, begging, haggling against the lowest possible MAP, etc. it is quite clear to me that higher pricing to make faster shipping possible is not an option at this time.

So please bare with us if there is a little delay, every order (since the day we opened the store) has shipped out to the customers.

Side note, forgot to say thank you to the people who replied with positive feedback or explanations.

Hunter, just so you understand, you ordered after 5pm on a Friday. But your order was still processed over the weekend, it is now only Tuesday, things only ship during the weekdays.

Shipping companies, let alone Sundown doesn't even work on the weekends, you ordered at the WRONG time if you expected your sub within the week.

Be patient man, or cancel your order if your not happy.

Honestly though, it's worth the wait.

I'm gonna cancel it if it doesn't get shipped by tommorrow and order it from 1800woofers.

bro i would not order from 1800woofer it took me 4 days just to get a tracking number they have no customer service at all

i couldnt get my cerd to work at the ssa store and they got back to me in less than an hour.1800woofer didnt get back to me until 4 days and a ton of phone calls and pm's.

I ordered my Dcon on a Friday. Took almost two weeks to build and ship to me. Not long at all.

You want long, my parents ordered new furniture almost two MONTHS ago. It's coming in this week.

The SA-12 will be well worth the wait. Just be patient.

That's funny. So its only been 3 days since he ordered and then complained, and two of those days are the weekend. lol.

Be happy you actually got something from 1800woofers.

Again, the subwoofer you ordered that took to get 4 days tracking was because Sundown was behind on shipping. I do stock nearly the entire Sundown line, but on certain occasions while we are waiting for a re-stock we have Jacob dropship from Sundown so you still get it faster.

Aaron and Mark provide awesome customer service, they will take care of you - do not worry about getting your order.

A lot of products SSA sells are drop shipped, or they get it from the manufacturer then ship it out to you. 1800woofers is likely in the same boat...

yea but i've been seeing a bunch of people complaining about SSA shipping being slow

I was that way with them but in the end it was worth the wait.

I live in a foreign country in the Caribbeans, and I always feel so confident about the ssa store. I can choose how fast I want my equipment to be shipped, and they answer to all my emails ! Fast answers, very very fast !!!:fing34:

The last time I ordered a Sundown amp from ssa, I received it in 5 days !!! Before I thought about asking for a tracking number, Fedex told me I had a package waiting for me !!!

Sundown is growing more and more !!!

And you ordered on the week end !!!! How can your sub be shipped on a sunday ?!

Even if the SA woofers are not made on orders, you're not the only one to order.

It's not rude at all. It is a fact. He did not type EVERY teenager did he? Once you age, you will look back and realize how stupid you were with many situations. This will be one of them.

Thanks for the help and I have been impatient.I just cant wait!I still havent recieved the tracking number though but my apoligies if you feel I was doggin the company.when I recieve it I will post another forum how great the shipping was.lol
