vcm ??//

would a vcm work on my alt ?...

its a 05 f150 with a dual alt bracket/alt form dc power/

my stock alt charges my stock electrical and my dc power charges my sound system batts.

i wanna use 16v batts, charge @ 18.

would a vcm work on my dc power alt ?

Not sure if your dc alt is set to 15.5v or 18v, but I'm guessing it's internally regulated? I'd talk to dc about it, first.

Ahh, well I would wait until Robbie or someone from DC responds, send it back and have them do it, or wait for further instructions from them about doing it yourself.

Yes, that looks like a GM 4 pin oval and the VCM will work on it to allow you to charge a 16V battery set up. One thing though is that with 16V batteries you need to charge around 19.2V.

ok , i was able to find a xs power vcm.

New ! only problem its that it dont have instructuions in how to make it work

on 16v batts ,.

what position do the little switches need to be ? how do i set it up ?// :peepwall:

ok , got it installed pins 1 and 5 up . pins 2,3,4,6 down.

i can get the vcm in ADJ mode with the dot blinking but i keep pushing up and voltage stays the same, it wont go past 16.7. >?

any ideas ? solutions ?...

i pressed the damn button like 300 times and nothing...
