I will be competing at the MLG Dallas tournament this weekend. My team name is "Fully Loaded" It consist of Me(The SuphiX), Tie Rant X, The Prephix, and The Sinis7er. I will be competing in Halo: Reach.

If you don't know what MLG is, I will kindly explain it to the best of my ability.

Ok, so in halo, mlg style, is the competitive side of the world, like top 5% of the entire halo community. But I love it. I started back in 06. Well anyway, there is 4 people on a team. You have two different game types, one, is a slayer game type where the objective is to kill the other team, The first to 50 wins. And the other game type is called varied, but for the most part, its an objective game type, whether it be Capture the flag, oddball, king of the hill, or assault. You will play these two totaly different game types on multiple maps/levels. Once you feel that you and your other teamates are ready to compete for money, you go to tournaments which MLG is one of the largest community that supports this side of halo. You pay 280$ for your entire team to join in. They usually have 6-8 events/tournaments a year, then there is the playoff, and then the off season, kind of like a sport. You have amautuer bracket, then semi-pro bracket, then pro-bracket. At each tournament, there will be about 250 teams, there is 4 people on each team, and then each team may have a coach. There is 6 rounds of winners bracket before you make top 32 or semi-pro bracket. Or, 8 rounds of looser. Then if your team makes top 16, you will be placed in the pro bracket, and if you make top 8, you make money! Which is the ultimate goal.

The prizes are as follows:

1st Place $20,000

2nd Place $12,000

3rd Place $8,000

4th Place $5,600

5th Place $4,000

6th Place $2,800

7th Place $2,000

8th Place $1,600

And at the championship event held in Las Vegas, I know 1st place gets 100,000.

So thats it at its basic, I just thought I would share this with you guys

haha thanks man, yeah, I will! But there is a lot more other prizes that go with it, for example, paid hotel, air travel, food, publicity in magazines, websites, etc.. Once you make top 16, you get the celebrity status, but in the gaming world of course. A lot of money can be made if you get there though, for sure, they will begin to pay you to play in their tournaments, free gifts, you get the picture lol Oh, and everything 1st class

Yo! I love dallas, I've been going there every year since 07! Theres like, phucking 5 downtowns! lol, Not a huge fan of their HOV lanes tho.... lol

Yeah man we have the biggest metropolitan area if you include Fort Worth, I love it here too. I hate the HOV lane only because I ride by myself all the time but if you got a passenger with you then its your best friend.

hahaha, just the other day, I just so happen to catch the news, and somebody got pulled over for putting a dora the explorer doll in the passenger seat so they can drive in the HOV lane lmao. But yeah, here in TN, or wherever else I've traveled for that matter, there isn't a on and off exit for the HOV, so when I'm down there, I hate having to switch lanes, out of the HOV lane, and of course, I go, bo bo bo bo bo over to the next lane to catch my exit FML lol.

Yeah, for Reach and 3 they still did, I think now they even do in HD???? But I know last year, you could still look into the archive of videos, bcuz I would go looking for my old H2 gameplay, but now, Idk where the heck you can find the old links anymore

Good luck bro....I would be going if I didn't quit 3 months ago. My team was fully sponsored as well We actually just recently got 13th at the DC Combine and I quit right after. I will check up on you, and look out for my old team "Southern Comfort"
