I was going to order my d3100 for my saz3500 tomorrow but i see a lot of good talk about the deka 9a31 and the 8a31. Will i come out better by getting two of the dekas over one d3100?

I think the two Deka's would out do a single D3100. I have the Deka's and they are very nice, I'd dare say AMAZING for the price.

I would go with 2 Deka 9a31s.

He was asking for opinions.

The masses seem to agree on Xs.

But for the difference in specs the d3100 is better.

Is it worth the money? If you have it i suppose.

deka-

Cold Cranking Amps 800

Cranking Amps 1000

Reserve Capacity 190

Amp Hour Rate 100

d3100-

# 1,360 cranking amps

# maximum output: 5,000 amps

# 110 amp-hours

You just showed more reason as to get the Deka'

With the Deka's you'll have 2,000CA over the Xs 1,300

With the Deka's you'll have 200AH over the Xs 110

And STILL probably spend less money.

Because he said he would be getting 2 deka's vs 1 xs... So 2 deka's is 200 vs the 110 of 1 xs. :fing34:

alright I dug out my receipts for you guys and found my three battery receipts

SSB AGM31T 189.99 plus $5 core

SSB 34/78EXTAGM 139.99 plus $5 core

doesnt say what the aH is for the front one, the SSB 34/78EXTAGM 139.99 plus $5 core, but the rear ones, SSB AGM31T 189.99 plus $5 core, are 100aH each

So I spent $530 for three batts, two huge AGM 100aH for the back and a normal sized AGM for the front.
