new 2 way set-up?

ok----some of you guys have heard the Magnum already(sounds ok----can be better) but I am thinking of a new 2 way set-up(wanna stay in Stock SQ class for MECA)-----so I am wanting to upgrade from the RE 6.5's and Alpine tweets-----I am thinking Morel Elante 6 or maybe a Dynaudio 2 way set-up-----any feedback would be great-----thanks

i say go with super pro 3.5 coax in the doors and kraco 6*9 3 way in the rear. ooops, forgot the low end...14 funky pups ported. that should do it. see you in the lanes dave lol

I was thinking-----one full year in Stock SQ and then make the jump to modified.--------I need a way to become a MECA member----and I don't have Paypal

you can send a money order, but I would just wait until the first show that you compete. that way you won't be losing money. As for your equipment, I would stay with the product you have. maybe one weekend you can come my way and we will take a trip to joe's house and let him tune a little.

I recomend the best CDT line of speakers you can afford! I have the ES Eurosports and love them. Killer Midbass, which makes most like them better then DLS. Plus they have a cool upstage kit you can add to place your soundstage at the windshiel level instead of sounding like its comming from the floor.

Extremis have a killer low end, although mine don't sound too hot above 2khz. Output is second to none. However, judging from the FR charts on that tweet, seems like they can drop down to 2khz so that shouldn't be a problem. Never heard the tweets b4 so I don't really know.

get some ES-600 woofers and a ES.01 tweet. Awesome sounding when run active. Or you could always go with the Morel tweets. I recently got my friend some Seas tweets that are quite nice. But i like the CDT tw-24 personally because the performance to price is very good.
