I was excited when I clicked on this post, as I thought I had nearly the exact same question as you, seeing your list of subs. I was, however, greatly disappointed when I read your goal of achieving "the most boom." I have my own thread on nearly the same question, save the fact that I have volume constraints, where you do not. Try reading the replies to my topic whenever they come, because nobody will give you advice with your question posed in that manner (not meaning to sound like a dick).

We don't like your kind around here.

If loudness is your goal, the N2 18" will be your best bet in most cases.

We however do not condone being a public menace, doing so causes laws and regulations to be passed against audio.

I am being a dick? what did i do? Im not trying to be a menace- nor rude. I was just thinking outside the box- that was exaggeration, i am really interested in these subs but these comments are kind of starting to change my mind. When i say knock on doors and rattle windows i mean i want loud bass- now since when does that make one an arseho. Just trying to give a visual. I keep seeing vehicles flexing cause of the bass(rattling shaking,etc...). Why all the close minded thoughts? No offense to anyone so if this offends you then it probably pertains to you but alot of answers have been very snobby. Who plays their music on low-come on people? All i want is some subs that will make my 12" L7s sound like whispers. All of you that can help me with information that would get me to that point would be greatly appreciated and so would the lack of durrogatory terms. 18" that kind of scares me- lol thanks for your knowledge cause i know nothing of these Fi first hand. I was debating between JL w7s and Fi's. Hopefully the Fis make me a believer.

He is obviously using figures of speech so settle down people.

What are your max dimensions of usable enclosure space?

OP, you can have great help from here, but you should be careful when you ask for informations !! All about Strategy !

read the forum rules and you'll understand.

You have room an a powerful amp, get the 18" BTL N2 (DVC1 to run it at 2 Ohms for your amp), and a big custom box. And that's it !!!

I hope your electrical is good enough for 2500 watts rms.

You come across as sounding like a dick when the FIRST thing you say is you wanna rattle peoples houses as you drive by. Sure I play my stereo at full tilt almost all the time, but a lot of us try to respect others as well. turning it down in neighborhoods, parking lots, intersections, etc, but you don't need some bass lesson from me lol

Perhaps if you would have said some crazy windshield flex or of the sort, then people wouldn't get a bad impression.

Any how, want to post some pics of your hatch / cargo area with dimensions.

Whats your electrical like? stock? any extra batteries, high output alts?

Whats your total budget for this endeavor?

And the Fi drivers WILL make you a believer ;)

It will basically come down to the install! You have a great start with the Kicker amp and matching it up to an Fi sub woofer should achieve your goals. Might want to look into the 4" Coil BL.

2 L7 12s on 2500watts should be pretty loud in the proper enclosure. Last weekend a guy here in OK did 145.1 with 2 L7 12s on 2 Kicker zx1000s (1k to each) with stock electrical and a spare battery, flexed the chit outta his S-10. He was running mod4 class (box above window line, no wall) and metered at the headrest btw.

nice. they do bump pretty hard but they are dual 4s so i only get like 6 apiece. there are just so many options with these fi its just deciding what to get. Tough tough.

Here's a used 1 ohm daily 18" Fi BTL in the classifieds for 325 shipped. It's not an n2. But it should perform very similarly.

I agree on the above, great driver, great price, should suit you well. You can wire it to 2ohms which is perfect for your amp.

But I'd still post dimensions just to make sure you have the volume, and your electrical as you may need to upgrade it, and budget.

As to the skar comment, the Fi BTL is a superior driver in itself, but having four skar 12s would have greater cone area, likely greater output, but it will cost more and you may not have the volume for the box :ughdunno:

27 deep (hatch to seat) X 42 (side to side X 18 high( floor to window) I'd post a pic but dont know how

What's your budget like? And electrical?

Shouldn't have any problems fitting a 18" driver in. Comes down to budget.

I'd get that used btl posted above or a new n2.

2 12s would have a little less cone area than an 18, but more motor force.

Single driver is certainly cheaper too :P

I'd definitely go the route of the single 18" sub. You can do sub up and dual ports firing back...would look very nice in my opinion. Add a flush baffle and you have a pretty sweet box.

Paint the port with flames, automatically adds 3dBs :drink40:

(I don't know how it works, but it does.)

And don't forget to duct tape around the sub. :D
