You went backwards, ordering then asking :P. They arent meant to play music daily and are really for competition use/burp only but people will still do otherwise. If you never competed before then i suggest sending Fi and email and changing your setup to the N2's, they will do just fine daily and competing.

Headroom can be your friend but the AudioQue 20K may just be too much for them, the AQ3500.1 will work as well and have less stress on your electrical.

ok let me be more specific ive been into car audio for about 8 years now...

my current setup is two audioque hc12s with a audio que 3500

i have been to 3 competions with 2 re sxx 12 hit 143.9 off of 2500 watts from the aq 3500

the bass didnt seem loud enough and i wasnt satisfied

i am new to posting forums and thats why I AM A newbie

i wanted the triple stack magnet and the n3s because their is 1000 watt rms difference and probally handle alot more than the n2s

i chose the n3s but im little nervous if im going to hurt the subs by playing them daily or not but i love to compeat

the a20 is perfect for me cause i going to give each sub 3000 watts a piece grand total 6000 watts which wont stress the amp to much

my main concern is am i going to hurt the subs that were designs for burps if i play them daily and will they sound ok

i heavily disagree.

the AQ20kw does an average of around 8-9kw on a typical 12v system so 2 N3s on that should be purely fine.

However.. the N3s are not smooth at all.. and you could get better sound and better lows from an N2.

For a real competitor then i wouldnt tell him how much to run cause he would already know, this thread wouldnt even been made.

No disrespect to the OP.

thanks everybody for the info...

im not a serious competitor yet i have a lot to learn i have done some small local competions but never considered myself a real competitor yet but hope to get their one day

but hoping this new setup will bring some good spl numbers

my main goal is to hit 150 or above i havent succeeded

but i hope the setup will do the trick?

i know there are some many factor with setups, cars , dynamat, box size etc

but any ideas what number to expect?

and thankyou everybody for the comments i greatly appreciate it.

No disrespect to the OP.

All competitors begin at some level it's just the determination to win that separates them. A simple yes or now would have sufficed. Even moderately educated competitors need confirmation to calm their worries. I believe if some one would have posted a graph of the response of the N3's the op would have learned more. It isn't the ability of the N3's to accept your planned power. The fact is the response is REAL high you will be missing ALOT of Lower response. It will be some what hard to get this sub to play below 40hz but only time will tell there isn't enough people with real world application running this sub. For me I am leaning real hard towards this sub since I will be running 10k and my crx peaks at 50-60 depending on several factors which is the sweet spot for this sub. Biggest thing distancing my purchase is I still want to Bass race and do demos.

I hit a 150.3 with 2 18" BL's in a junk box that was made for 2 15" (just cut the holes to 18") and on 4000 watts give or take some... if i had a bad ass box made for the 18's and my HO alt i have now i would of gained least a DB or 2

They are just for burping. If you are playing any music, you will be much much better off with the N2's.

IMO you can dial down the power quite a lot.

The N2's will work well in competitions. My 2nd gen BTL 12 has served me very well at competitions...

I'm not expert in any way, but I feel like the OP wants to drive his RedBull Formula1 to commute everyday in the traffic jams ! Maybe it can work ?!

It is not going to explode or anything if you play music on it..

It simply has too much motor force in our opinion to be a worth while musical woofer.
