FI SSD 10 Double stack magnet

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, never been here in this forum but was wondering if there is a way to tell what options if any have been added to an FI sub? Just bought what I think is an original FI SSD 10' with the double stack magnet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!!!!!

You should be able to see what it is if you look in the vent holes, just above the coil (if im not mistaken) in a black sharpie :)

That's just the coil. IIRC you cant just look and see which options a sub has/doesn't have. Unless they do the sharpie on all the subs. ill go check mine..

Hey, never noticed that! Good call. +1 for BAMF.

K hope I'm doin this right. Thanks a bunch! I put my meter on it and found out it's a dual 2 ohm. Currently have a VT (virtual technologies) Hammer 10 in a T-line and hoping to switch to the FI with the same amount of power but with maybe a different sound. The VT is a dual 4 ohm (400 RMS) I have about 750 to it now. Hoping the FI will do better with more power?
