Cadence zrs c1and US amp md3d

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I found very good prices on these 2 amplifiers on Audiosavings.

They're cheap (less than $450) and claim to be powerful.

I am surprised by the fuse rating on both of them : they need 130 or 150 amp fuse only for +2000 watts. My current amp, a Sundown saz 1500 needs a 150 amp fuse.

I know Cadence and US Amps are well known brands. How can that be ? Are their ratings legit, or are they overated ?

I still want :morepower1: for my BTL N2.

I will upgrade the electrical after I get the amplifier. I will add or change battery for an AGM one (probably an Optima Yellowtop) later.

what do you think about these 2 amps ? zrs c1 and md3 ?

They should do rated power, just might be at a little higher voltage to get there. I almost bought the MD3D from them but I think when I upgrade I'm gonna go for about 3k instead of 2k. They are nice amps, just not quite as badass as the Sundowns imo. I can also vouch for Audiosavings, I've made multiple purchases through them, they are great to deal with, great customer service as well.

I say......stay with Sundown. I see some refurb deals pop up.

Or

I have two Crescendo amps (3kwp and 1000c4). Their newly released lineup looks nice as well.

It takes 139 amps at 14.4 volts to make 2,000 watts, pending 100% efficiency, which those amps are about 80% efficient. Their fusing is right on par with that they are capable of drawing, which seems to be less than rated.

I will wait until I find a Sundown 2500 used from Jacob ...or even db-r.

I have a limited budget of $500 for the amp only. Shipping will add more $ to it.

I don't want to go to 3000 watts. My electrical will need too much upgrades ! And I don't need that much power, for my fully loaded N2.

I live far away from the USA, so shipping will be very expensive if I get an amp from an individual member. Need to be a professional with good shipping rates @ Fedex or UPS.

Careful, audiosavings is not an authorized dealer for US Amps.

I Will wait some more...

I already have the money.

I can but I don't want to change my battery for now : it's still good enough. I will see what to do when I have the new amp installed.

I saw the STETSOM 2Ksomething.

I've read lots of stories about this amp brand. But their amps are cheaper than Sundown, so...?

Still thinking:peepwall::ughdunno:
