db drag at stop light

Well usually when I'm at a stop light I turn my sub off so I don't annoy anyone. But some other guy was blasting his bass at the stop light. So I figure why not embarass him or give him a taste of his own medicine. I crank my 15" way up and a matter of seconds later he stopped playing his. Then when I stopped playing mine he tried turning his up and so I cranked mine up and left it cranked up. It was pretty fun. Wasn't anywhere near my house so no worries of getting ripped off. The best part was the guy was probably running 2 10's or 2 12's as he had blazer style truck and couldn't keep up.

By the way, don't know if I posted this or if I thought about posting it, but do any of you know a really strong rear view mirror? My sub has worn my current mirror out I think because it just keeps falling down.

Bass tends to loosen rear view mirrors.

Ive read that some people have them loose so they dont fall off.

I've owned so many people in the tri-state...it's rediculous.

My everytime I listen to rap, I just voluntarily take off my rear view mirror. If not, it will fall and could injur someone or my mids .

Also, side views don't vibrate...they WAG...flap all over the place. I love it.

Your system would definitely blow mine away. I think this is going to be my new routine. When someone is at a stoplight with the windows down and their subs hitting, I'm just going to turn mine up and blast them away. Maybe they'll think twice about turning their system up again at a stop light. I wish I could fit 2 15" SI d2's just to see how insane it would be.

Kickins soo cool. lol, people always plasy at stop lights, i get mad when im not in my ride, and people are bumping becuase i just want to show them up but im not in ym owwn car... any how i do the same things i turn it down at stop lights.

altho kickin, if i wanted just loud my new setup would be 4 l7s or 4 type r's but its not its going to be 2 Si Mag D2s so its loud and sounds good. =) but i love your set up.

Kickin, i might get a new deck, and from what ive seen you system do, im pretty much sure if i dont get a screen im getting a 860. They seem nice.

Altho with the stop lights i dont mind people who know what there doing, i dont drag them. Like the non sticker, but u can tell its not chit cus it doesnt rattle. they took the 100 to weather shield there car. Those people are worth my respect at least.

usually i laugh and shake my head when some bumps at me at a stop light. if i have all my windows up, i might crank it for my self. but i fade my subs way down and don't turn it up if my windows are down. lot's of deadening, 151 db's @ 40 hz inside, sounds stock outside.

there is one time i couldn't resist. one night, i was eating in a restaraunt and this guy kept cruising back and forth bumping. had the typical audio related stickers. so i leave and i'm heading out of town back to home in my town. there at a stop light was the guy still bumping, in front of me. i couldn't help but roll my windows down and just squeeze the onion for all it had. everyone around was pissed off from their cars shaking, i gain another 3 db with my windows down. the guy in front jumps back and forth, looking all around. then looks out his back window at me, cause every bass note my lights dimmed to about nothing. when the light turned green, he raced out of there like i was chasing him to kill him. weaving in and out of traffic passing.

just curious i mean how do u know u've outbumped someone i mean i usually get to the light and if it s turned up i cant hear anything the driver next to me is palying, so i mean if both people are blasting there radio, who knows who is louder especially if ur not outside the car to hear what is going on in the 1st place.
