Thanks Nick, beat me to it.

Box looks well built. What type of material do you use for your enclosures?

Thanks a lot Nick !

More pics to come later today. they're still on my phone.

Sorry for the bad pictures, as I took them with my BB 9300 ! And I'm really not good at taking pictures !!!

We could not finish yesterday because of the rain here. Today sun is shining (30 ° C sorry guys !!!), so we will have the box in the car to test tonight. I work all day on thursday.:ughdunno:

We need to add a piece of wood to brace the port a little more. We found it was the only part of the box that was kind of weak. all the panels are so strong now ! we love it so far !

I have not read any review about this new sub, but someone in Martinique told me theN2 is not as good as the Gen2 BTL, and that Fi was becoming more average !! This guy is waiting for 2 Mayhems, saying AA was higher quality now than Fi. Don't know why. But he claims to be in contact with some Fi guy (I won't say who). He's trying to sell Fi and AA products, claiming he's an official rep.:WTFBubble:

I will make a new topic to give my simple review of this beast !

I don't know how to name this material I use, but it's "waterproof", a little lighter than mdf. We are used to it down in Martinique, because we can't always find mdf. Our cars are small and less powerful than yours. We need to be careful on weight. Gas is very expensive too. Very few people drive V6, or car with more than 2.5 l engines.

3/4" mdf is 19 mm. This green material is 18mm.

Think about that rationally for just one second...and you'll think otherwise..

Why would we be moving all of our raw steel production here..farther advancing technology..and make an inferior product to what we previously made? Come now. That's just stupid.

We backed down motor force on the N2 for a reason, if he thinks that is "worse" then cool. He does not understand how it works...more motor force is not always and necessarily better. When you have too much for a daily driving application you simply lose your peak..it turns into a saddle shaped response curve because you are not getting the Qts shift.

There's only 2 "Fi guys" that anybody would talk to..and Scott and myself say the exact same thing as I just said above.

I don't really believe this local guy. He must be sad that I ordered a BTL direct from Fi and not from him ! We are members of a local facebook page about car audio, and I think he doesn't want other members to bypass him on ordering Fi or AA !!!

I'm in total trust on your products. You know how long I've been waiting just to be able to order my sub !!!:peepwall:

I will try to find the link for his ebay site, and I will send it to you by mail, so you can see by yourself !

Carpeted and finished !

I like the grey carpet finally, it matches my car !

med_gallery_7996_532_13780.jpg

Port is has been painted in blue to match the sticker of the sub !!! and it's nice. Even the little piece of wood we add to reinforce the port has been painted in blue.

By the looks of the building pics, it looked like speckled spray...but the carpet turned out great.
