Can Anyone help me solve my problem?

Recommended Posts

First thing is I would FIX the other sub before concluding that anything is louder or not. 2nd off is the box optimal for those subs? I know that Kicker CVR's can rattle crap in whatever junky box they are put into. Sometimes people mistake their crappy sound for more volume.

You say the subs are just too big. Did you account for the volume they take up, did you make your box optimal for the 2 subs? Is it really that difficult to find the receipt for what you bought? Or maybe contact ascendant and see if they can pull it up? Do you have enough electrical to honestly support a real 2500W of power?

The box is a prefab from bassforms i didnt make it, its complete fiberglass with no leaks or anything. Also i stated earlier i checked my subs with a dmm and my subs are dual 2 ohms. The one sub sounds like a bad coil, i tried it in another box as well as a box in my friends tahoe with his amp and its busted so it has nothing to do with my box it just arrived busted. The other sub is fine though i unhooked it and ran it to a one ohm load and dialed the gain on the amp way back and it sounds good, but since ascendant want reply to my emails as well as wont answer any calls (been calling for a week) it looks like ill be getting new subs.

Yea the box you have there is no way you have the air space you need you need to fix the AA and tear the back seat out and another battery and you will be very impressed

Just fix the bad sub. You should love them both on that power.

There is an AA sub-forum here, try to post something, they answer really quickly.

I could not see your box at all. Are you sure it is good enough ? (volume, tuning,...) Is it strong enough ? Fiberglass box for 2500 w rms of power ? I don't know of it can be strong enough for these little monsters !!!

Good luck !
