started my box for Dcons

I agree.... I use that gasket tape on EVERYTHING I build. Seal subs, ports, removable ports/panels just about anything.

Look at the bottom of the rubber gasket, you'll see the foam tape.

i went to home depot to look for some weather stripping... i found this stuff which is kind of like rubber.. it worked great and sealed it up. it fit perfect for size on the back of the sub and has like a doulble seal.... boy did that help!!! they sound great now.... here is the stuff i bought.... i am super happy with these subs for this build.. Thanks to SSA for some great sounding subs at a great price... :eek5wavey::gayhaaay1:

oh ya.... these 2 Dcons with the Bash 500 watt plate amp are a pretty good match for power..

That looks like a sweet setup. Hey how do you have the subs wired to the plate amp? Hi level?..I've got a 10" ssd fi audio hooked to a 150 watt plate amp and it moves pretty good.
