Recommended Posts

i get this noise of of the speakers even when the engine is not started its like a blurry kind of noise it happens as soon as u turn the volume on its like if i turn my computer speakers all the way up that fuzzy noise and then i also have a slight alternator whine all my stuff is hooked up right ive even tryed multiple amps so the amps are not the problem im thinking about getting a inline noise filter not the rca type cause its not my rcas and its not the amp could my headunit be defective it was a used one ibought

its a eclipse 5030 yes ive tryed everything

maybe its just sensitive to sound becuase ive never had this problem before unit i put this hu in

im going to try a filter

i also bought a capacitor because i heard that those will filter the whine but that didnt do anything so it must not be comming threw the battery power with im guessing its getting the noise threw the ignition or constant wire

then i thought it was my amp so i even bought a different amp and nothing changed still noises i should of bought a headunit instead of a amp

try to ground the rca's out of your head unit to a good grounding point. That may help you.

It's what I did to my Pioneer 88 prs, and it helped a lot. Until I decided to take it to a repair shop; a pico fuse was defective and they "fixed" it for me ! For cheap : less then $30 !

everything is fine, now !!!

I will never touch the rca with the h u on.

But it is a Pioneer, I don't know for Eclipse.
