I just sent and e-mail to Jacob to see what he recommends. if he thinks a repair is do able I will give his suggestion a try if not well sign me up for another recone lol. then again this is the second issue I have had with this sub last time i had to use some of that glue to glue the surround back down.

That's a bummer, one problem after another. Hope it's a speedy fix either way and your back to bassing

also i have looked back there and felt around and funny thing is i never noticed that till i got it out of the car lol i guess there wasn't enough light back there for me to see any thing lol or i am blind!

That is a pretty big tear -- I haven't tried it on one that big... but we have fixed splits with gorilla tape on the back and goop on front.

but I think I will try the tape and glue idea first and if that goes bad then i will give this a try!

a little more info

i just got my box metered and it ONLY did 143db on 31hz

it also did 143 at 56hz lol

and on music about the same numbers

so i don't know something is up something is wrong somewhere i am looking into the issue now i also ran into a gain issue which is under investigation! lol and o ya i also foam it all in so getting the fricken box out now will be a pain since it is cold out and i am in school again
