The principle is the same. Each may have a slight variance, but I'd say that 99% are identical.

Some things are literally throw-away drivers. It depends on cost or repair (Adire wont recone Koda Mids for example) and design (Orion wont recone H2's for example).

But in GENERAL, yea, most have some way.
