Need a new 12" sub

Hi,

I will sell my Xcon this week. I have a wonderful deal, so I must sell it !!!

I love the Xcon, but want to try something else. If I could fit (2) 12" , I would get (2) Xcons.

Now, I want a 12" Fi Btl N2 to put in my 3.2 ft3 ported enclosure. I like it because of the "reduced" weight.

I want to be louder than now, but still clean ! I listen to reggae and rap mostly.

I thought about those 12"subs : Fi Btl N2, AA Mayhem, DC level 4 xl,...

But what is your opinion ? What would you choose ?

In the future, I will try a more powerful amp (2500 watts), and I will build a smaller box for the 12". I need room in the trunk to fit a battery and some groceries eventually !

You could of kept this in your last thread about the same thing. Its hard for someone to determine a 12" sub that will sound louder then your current 15" with the amount of information you given. Especially with a sub that is not even out yet and nobody has experience with it yet.

AA Mayhem 12", it has more motor force and could get louder but the installation will play a large role as well as the equipment picked.

What is louder than your current setup? What is your current setup up tuned to? What is your electrical to determine if you arent even getting full output of what you have now and so on? Any and all information that can help someone help you besides I want to be louder and still cleaner than my current setup but with a smaller subwoofer.

My electrical is good enough. No voltage drops at all with my stock alt and my big stock battery.

I did the big 3 in 0 gauge. I have a run of 0 ga coming from my battery to the trunk.

My voltage is the same with or without the system running !

My box is tuned to 32 hz with 2 psp aeroports(4") like I have in my sig.

No children, not married yet !!!

I know the btl is a new model, but it can't be worst than the old one.

I made this thread because I ask for new advices about some other woofers. And the list I made is not closed.

What size is your stock alternator and stock battery? That is hilarious that you dont have .1 volt drop at all even when system is playing, not saying I dont believe you but it is hard to believe with a stock chaging system and system at full tilt.

We can offer you a list of subs but it doesnt mean it will be louder or as clean or both compared to your current system.

BTL n2 (even if it is better than the previous model it is hard to compare a sub that is not out yet)

What is your budget for a sub as well? Naw no need to be smart man just trying to help you out and not give advice before getting all the information from you like most people (everyone doesnt have signatures turned on or will go look at your avator for information you need to post for help).

I don't know what size alt I have, but my car has a diesel engine, so the alt is strong.

I have described(told) how my alt works to one of the guys at dc (or xs, I don't remember) and he toild me that it was working fine.

I check my voltmeter very often when playing.

If I play at full tilt some heavy bass rap song, I may drop 0.1 volts.

I don't play for hours for the city !

The fact IS that I am selling the xcon for big cash. I must take advantage of that !I NEED a new woofer. What can you say Jay-C ? Believe me or not, my electrical is strong enough : 13.6 volt with or without music. When I bought the car, brand new, it was the same! I think the batt is a 75 a one.

Now that you given the proper information then yes believing you is not a problem even though I would want a higher voltage then what you have. See how easy it is when you follow the posting rules and given all available information.

I listed these subs right here as being something that you can look it, does it mean they will meet your goals (who knows):

These are just a few that may/may not help you reach your goals, do you have a budget for a sub or is it unlimited? Its not that no one wants to help but your question is subjective.

My budget is 400-450 $ for the sub. I know I will have about 250 for shipping , plus custom taxes.

I don't think the Warden will fit in the budget.

Did not want to play the smart guy, I thought I said enough. I am not a little kid no more !

I hope I told you all enough to give me a good advice. If not, just ask.

Was looking at the sundown subs : Z and Nightshade.

Too much choice !!!

If I can't find any more opinions, I will get the Btl N2, and that's it.
