bl recone help!

Hey I have a 12" fi bl and I need to recone it I have it all striped down and the basket I sanded all that crap off but I need some advice on how to recone the sub and what I should do thanks for your help

I believe UPS didn't like Fi sending glue with them, a 5-minute epoxy form a hobby shop will work well.

Ok and how much pressure would I need to keep on the spider and cone?

Some plastic C-clamps will work, let it dry for a few hours

for a first i recommend 15 minute epoxy....because you can move the sub and everything around if it is not in place.

You can get a glue kit from us in the accessories section...

I'd highly suggest using 15 minute epoxy on your first recone though. It gives you way more room for error.

thanks everyone for the help when i get my cone in i will post some pics and see if i need to do anything else to the magent before i put my cone on and i think i might get a 15" instead of the 12" because i got a new car and i can fit a big enough box

how do you get that black stuff off the screws and then what is it so i can put it back on? so the screws dont move. thanks alot.. i also have pics just in case im not clearly stating what i was talking about please help

i would use an impact screwdriver, that's what iv seen allot of people use to get those screws lose

Most Likely ca glue

so could i just replace it with epoxy, the same kind im going to use for the recone?

CA glue is black superglue, epoxy works as well.
