hey i have a question i have a btl 12" wit only the cooling option and i'm wondering if i get a recone kit for it can i get the hi xmax coil of did i have to choose that to begin with

You can get high xmax coils if you bought it originally with short coils. Just make sure to order the right impedance. Dual 2 coils will only fit subs with the Universal option or subs which were built Dual 2.

Yes the hixmax only increases coil wind height, nothing on the motor changes as far as I know.
