2 Q series 12" Box design

Ok guys i wanna get 2 Q series 12" subs my only problem is i dont what dimensions to use for a ported box and lso a sealed box. If any of you know please share im trying to either et cut out sheets for them or get the dimesions needed thank you. I was told to ask JBLCamry but i cant find him thanks ahead of time.

I understand that but they only have boxes for a single sub. Im trying to make it for 2 12" Q's. not just one. I thought it would be as easy as doubling the numbers but its not so thats what im asking for the dimensions of the box cut outs for what i need to make.

Take your max dimensions of your trunk and I'm sure someone would be glad to design you a box ported or sealed. Also, tell what you want it tuned to as it will help the other person when designing a ported box.

First of all there is no need to act like a condescending a$$hole. SORRY i dont know this stuff like you guys. Im just a housewife who is trying to get my brother in law to make this box for my husband who is returning from Iraq very soon and i want it ready for him. So sorry if im asking questions that might seem so dumb to you. Geez there is no need to belittle people who are trying to find help. Im sure u knew it all when u started out huh??? Ayway thanks HZD skizzy ill look there and get the dimensions of his trunk so we can see what we are working with

Noone is intending to act like this at all. This is one bad thing about the internet; you can't really grasp the true mood of someone's typing. Some typing may sound cruel and harsh but really it isn't, it's just how they type. Sorry if you took anything the wrong way. But anyways, yeah download that link that says "Dual 12 Ported link" that should be a sufficient box for 2 q's. But make sure you measure your trunk first so it may fit. Plus, your trunk may be big, but the opening may be very small. So I would make a cardboard "mock-up" box to see if it goes in either through the rear seats or the trunk opening. Also, if you don't feel comfortable making a good enclosure by yourself or with your brother in law, give your dimensions to Argent Audio. He has his own section on the forum. You are assured a quality built enclosure. Prices may be hefty after shipping a heavy box but it will be worth it in the long-run. Hope this helped. Hope your husband returns safely.

Just one more thing he's got a magnum and the entance of the back is big enough to fit through the back. So here are the dimensions He has 38" width wise 14" high as to not be to tall and my brother in law says he only wants to come out about 13" max. He wants the subs to be facing up towards the roof of the car. He was saying something about since its not in a trunk its in an open area he want it to be sealed not ported. Will they still sound good and loud?

becuase im making this profile for my husband. Plus my brother in law said to make it for him since he's gonna do it when he gets back anyway so now he has a profile and he has help. I've learned you have to be specific when asking your questions because the members on hear, including me, are assuming what you want/know.

I was only stating that you didn't understand my first post and Hzd did, simple as that.

I hope the enclosure/subs work out well for you/your husband.

Take Hzd's advice of a mock up seriously, it sucks to have completed a project that you can't get in the trunk.

I'd highly suggest going ported.

Subs up, port back. Let it wang.

Sealed...eh. If you want to you can, ported is so much better.
