Looking to help a friend find a cheap amp.

$150-$160 or less, needs to be 1 ohm stable, at least 400-500rms x1 at 1 ohm

i believe you. most ppl knock maxxsonics' products, but my little brutus never gave me any trouble.

MB Quart is their best line right?

Which says nothing about the whole line. As with all of their lines some pieces are just crap, others budget whatevers. I'd still prefer something else.

Never has a single issue with any of my Maxxsonics amps.

I guess spending more makes you cooler on the internet or something. :ughdunno:

I had a autotek street machine 1500 Watt mono block and I never had a problem with it.I would still have it but I upgraded to an AQ2200 and sold the autotek to my friend and he is still using it with no problems. Also, the autotek amp is only like 160 bux or something on sonic electronix.

what about some used rockford. they were always pretty solid and affordable. dose it have to be new?

Nope, doesn't have to be new I guess. I'm really looking towards that US Amps group buy!!
