oh nah... wish it was like that... lol ... She is jewish and feels no guilt.. EVER! ... I ordered it cuz I got pissed that I always hold off on things for her... So argument yielded no more waiting! lmfao! :morepower1:

One of the reason why I have 'things' shipped the local UPS store, with my cell on the address ;) ....the "oh, it's just parts for my car" bit was wearing thin..... especially when she found how much her cousin spent on his car audio! lol :P

Ha Ha, I just ship it to the house and let her find out in due time. I usually just get a look but she don't give me a hard time about it.

We split the bills up and have separate accounts. She don't ask me how much things cost anymore and neither do I. Trust me, the girls spend the hell out of some money!

Arguing about money pretty much ruined my first marriage and separate accounts is only way to fly. Well, there was that time I tripped and fell, and my wiener accidentally got stuck in another girl, that didn't help either. lol

+1, She knows that I really enjoy car audio and 'car things' in general make me happy. ;) She spends money clothes etc, and I rarely spend money on anything else; other than her and my dog :P I guess as long as my car retains a good practicality level (which is one of my system goals anyways), and she is fine with it.

BTW, her boss was wondering where the Blue LED light was coming from inside my car...while I was waiting to pick her up from work last night. She told her boss "it was comes from his car audio set-up; his 'OTHER' girlfriend! LOL

volt meter, bass knob light? :P

Bass knob, and the LCD display from my HU, which is sort of bright at night ;)

So jackass fellas from earlier on...lol...

Is this amp good enough for me, wired @ 1Ohm??

I am not keen on running an amp daily @ 1Ohm.... Yada yada.... Should I do that? Running 1Ohm daily seems like its not gonna be good on the amp or electrical....

Here is what I was looking at:

http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_67_69_79&products_id=238

Please let me know. Thanks

1ohm for daily is 100% fine my man! (assuming the amp is 1ohm stable)

Are you running on stock electrical?

I would save up and get a SAZ series amplifier. 1 ohm shouldn't be an issue daily depending on your electrical. Under 1ohm is when it gets kind of hairy depending on the amplifier.

I remember Chris from DB-r telling me that the SAZ series were better, and they have better crossovers when I was inquiring about them. I went ahead and picked up the SAZ 1000 version from him at that time, but I am currently running it on a 2 ohm set-up. My previous set-up; I had a Crunch amp at 1 ohm , and I did not have any issues...given my electrical upgrades. I think that I've heard that woofersetc had bought up the remaining SAZ 1000's, and they are priced at $279 new, until they are gone. I never bought from woofersetc, so I don't know anything about their customer service.

I have been lazy to upgrade the wiring... I have 50ft of O gauge wiring but I cannot seem to get these terminals on the damn things... Tried with a vise grip and it worked but holy shyt- 20 minutes... Tried with a lug crimper... NO GO! ...

If I could get these stupid lugs on I would have done it.... So going for any of those amps is a badd idea if I don't upgrade the stock wiring??

Funny, I just was on woofersetc since they became a authorized dealer recently... So yea, I was looking at it.... Thanks for mentioning that. Should I def only go for a SAZ???

At the time, I was looking at the SAE-1200D V.2 and the SAZ-1000, the SAZ fit my tight space installation requirements and meet my power goals from what I wanted to do with it.

SAE line is made in china. SAZ is made in Korea by a respectable build house. SAZ is indeed better.

:+1: I do remember now that Chris from DB-r did mention this ^, I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. I also wanted the SAZ 1000 to 'cosmetically' match my SAX-125.2 as well.

A pic of the wires.... Purchased a hydraulic crimp tool from harborfreight... Kind of annoying but I still had to crimp a bit with the vise since the die of the crimp tool wasn't exactly the gauge it states. Says 00 awg but it really seems like 0 awg ... Worked out well I think... 3 crimp spots per terminal for a nice tight grab!
