SAZ-3000, stripped thread in outputs

Recommended Posts

Hey Jacob,

What thread can i re-tap my SAZ-3000 to on the speaker outputs? i guess i stripped the thread completly on one of them and was wondering what the next size thread up i could tap it to? or just let me know the size it is now and i can figure it out.

Thanks,

Anton Miller

Do you have a tap and die set now?

Most likely will have to upgrade to new set screws so you could make it whatever would fit the best.

i work at a machine shop, so i have all sorts of taps and dies at my disposal, and i can order any sized set screws i need.

so the thread must be a 10-24 or 10-32? im going to see if we have any 12-24 set screws laying around. thats a pretty uncommon size for our shop so i doubt it.

thanks everyone
