yeah it would be sealed, real slim and wide. i think it's a really good idea but i'm sure he'd like some other suggestions also.

If he plans on running sealed, SA-10's wouldn't be a good choice.

Without knowing anything about his budget, what size enclosure he can fit, what driver depth he can fit, what amplifier he will be using (if he has one) and what his goals for his system are.....no one else can help.

There was no way for you to know they were cousins haha. Just funny stuff.

Output wise and especially for your space constraints, it may work better to do a couple sa8s in a ported enclosure.

his budget will be high, (he's rich ;)), i've measured it before but can't recall, and the amp should be an Aq2200d. if he hasn't sold that also...

he says SQ but not sure if he's using the term correctly.

hope this helps at least a little more.

But is sundown audio the way to go for sure?

no definitely not a 'for sure'

how much room you have under there will help narrow it down 'for sure'

what cab do you have?

the crew cab has 7 inches front 4.5 inches rear 16 deep and 56 wide. narrows down your selections. if you fire down you only have about 4.5 mounting depth.
