Hey guys! Hopefully someone can help me with this. I'm going to redo my whole sound system and I was going to get a h/o alternator but my stock alternator went out so

i had to buy another stock one. So my question is will I be able to add a h/o alternator to my truck with the stock one that I currently have? and if so what do I need to make it work. Please help!!

Sure you can do that as long as you have a dual bracket.

What car/truck?

I have an 02 expedition.

You can hit up tejcurrent and see if he can help you.

I went and saw his brackets in person last week, liked them so much I am getting one for myself.

Very nice! Good guy too.

There are several companies that make a bracket to fit your vehicle. I'm working on one for a customer locally that will fit, but it may be a few weeks before it's tested and ready to sell. If you're looking to buy right away I've heard nothing but good things about DC's products. You should have no problems keeping your factory alternator and adding a h/o alt when you're ready.

Oh ok, thanks alot. I will check them out. Let me know when your bracket is available.

contact DC Power

I second that one. Contact DC Power Engineering like phi said. They make the best alternators on the planet. I got one from them and it will laugh at any amps that I throw at it now.
