Nope.. one on that much power is extremely easy, I've seen a burp on an LMS-Ultra at around 40hz for a couple seconds, bam the cone is dead.

Thilo needs to use something much stronger for a SPL woofer.

Nope.. one on that much power is extremely easy, I've seen a burp on an LMS-Ultra at around 40hz for a couple seconds, bam the cone is dead.

Thilo needs to use something much stronger for a SPL woofer.

Well, it was a figure of speech ;P it's kinda inevitable with 4k of power lol, and if IICRC it was about 4-5k.

Ahhhh...was Snoopdan.....TC 5200 prototype...5K.....50hz burp....also he said this...

Discontinued design by TC sounds, since the alumnium cone could not stand up to rigorous SPL competition style useage.

Actually the new cones are Titanium, but have the same problem if you beat them enough with 4K or so
