Props go out to SSA. The Xcon is the most accurate woofer I have ever

Recommended Posts

I finally hooked everything up in my suburban and it sounds even better than I thought it would. I have a 18" Xcon tuned to 35 hz. I have it hooked up to a JBL 1200.1 II and it is plenty of power for me. As far as music reproduction the Xcon is the best I have ever heard. I've played every type of music and it sounds ridiculously good on everything. When i turn up it literally feels like its hitting you in the chest. Its starts getting hard to breath on certain songs. lol. Props go out to SSA for making a Top knotch woofer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When i get the wires and stuff cleaned up I'll put up some pics and maybe a video.

Just a break down on what else Im running with it. Alpine 9855 deck. mli-6.5 with vifa tweeters. Running active on a US acoustics USX-4065

Yea Yea I know. I might take a couple pics tonight after i get off work. I have been doing more tuning and it sounds even better. I dont even really turn it up much because my front stage is having a little trouble keeping up with the sub and this is a sound quality sub. lol

Welcome to the family.

If your front wont keep up, they sound EXCELLENT in a sealed box too. Might still have trouble keeping up sealed. lol

Its a Deka Group 31 batt. Its overkill since I'm only running around 1500 watts total but it leaves me a little room to upgrade my amps when the time comes

Normal sized group 31 battery, like the Kinetik HC2400 and XS D3100
