opinion on performance of a minilith

I am running a PG RSDc 12 off my JBL BPX500.1 and I am just wondering if the minilith would be a step down. powerwise I am sure it would but I wonder if the mini sounds better or has more control of sub.

my sub can take lots of power but doesnt need it. its got a efficiency rating of 94

Power wise, they should be pretty heads up, last I checked the JBL stats. Honestly, you have a great amp, but ZED is never a step down.

I like the JBL but I still feel the ZED has the edge in controls...has more options...I went ahead and picked up the mini....I think its better built also..but not positive....

luckily I dont need a ton of power for my sub. I am using a ADCOM for my fronts so I would like to get more sq out of my sub...and not SPL

That is if I can run this mini in 1 ohm.....or else its going to have to be 4ohm...but that may not be a issue either
