How much would it cost

Recommended Posts

Was wondering what the pricing would be on getting this fixed, with a recone and a basket to 18 d1 flatwind?

Thanks.

I don't think there is a way to fix it............................ :suicide-santa:

Is the pole in the motor off center? or is that just the picture?

It can be fixed. I talked to the owner before the OP and he had gotten quotes from sub builders and they can do it so Nick can do it unless the seller was lying.

I'm the owner now :)

Been looking for a Bl motor for about a month now and finally found one, not my first choice but at least I won't screw up trying to recone something myself

Nope, had a bl a couple years ago that the whole motor shifted in half where the glue failed

Tried to glue it back together, but of course that didn't work, and i chunked it in the trash without pulling the basket off (Kicks self in ass now)

Just have to remove the bottom plate as it is attached to the pole piece, not a simple process if you don;t have the tools but Nick can.

The pole will not shift..there is a bolt going through it.

The top plate is shifted or the backplate is shifted..if the magnets are not cracked we can do something with it. If they are cracked, you're screwed. We do not have any more of those magnets.

So how do I pay for it when I send it in? Should I just go through your website and pay for a recone with basket and you'll bill me later? or do I need to send you full payment now, and if so, how much will it cost?

$35 to redo the motor..that's if the magnets are not cracked. If they crack it's pretty much junk as we do not use those magnets anymore.

You can send it into us and make sure you package it properly..all of your contact info needs to be in the package and we'll contact you when we get it rebuilt.

Need to have your Name, Address, Phone Number, Email address, What you are sending in, What needs to be done, What it needs to be built to etc. Frame size, Coil impedance, and Dustcap color.

Alright, I sent the motor in, should be there today according to usps.

I sent an email to your sales and recone emails and also included all my info in the package. Was wondering how long it would be before I got an invoice or a reply on lead time for the rebuild

Thanks
