Looking good fellas!When can I bring the Yukon down for a LQ9 swap?

Probly in March, got lots to do on this build and still have a wall to build.

delivery came, fuses , fuse holders, picked up some misc. zip ties , heat shrink, solder, and all the goodies needed to make stuff happy.

started making some connections, decided that since the entire wire harness was coming out why not use all 1/0 grounds, and do a little upgrading!!!

Passenger side of engine bay is cleaned up and back in, Battery tray and first battery is installed , fabd a plate for the fuse holders to mount to , and started running some of the 1/0 connections,

not sure about the fuse holder mount , made it from some extra material, but not sure Im feeling the squareness, I just dont know if Im feeling the flow of it , ideas or opinions ?

spread the fuse holders farther apart and put a airbrushed grasshopper in the center of the mount... or something eye appealing

Havn't gotten to the other side but there are 2 more of those fuse holders that will be going on the opposite side. The grasshopper sounds good! :drink40:

:fing34: Another build might be starting soon!!!!!! Grasshopper pushed Sefugi into buying another vehicle for a wall, will pass on the details if deal goes through Wednesday.

yeah thinking about some plate aluminum from a scrap pile, might cut out a spade or something , not sure? might put a grasshopper mural in the hole for the old air cleaner made from a circle of lexan, well see come wednesday / thursday Ill be back on it and hopefully she will be breathing fire soon!!

Just an update... Spent some time tonight making some progress. Thinking Grasshopper will show a few pics of what has been going on, he's got the camera and the pics. Things are coming together under the hood. Tomorrow night we will start attacking the wiring harness, got a lot of things to trim out and many more to add. Lots of solder and heatshrink to burn. :trippy: Still waiting on a few things to come in to tie up a few loose ends on plumbing. Stay tuned for some updates with pics.

progress update, last post was not feeling the fuse mount on the passenger side , it was not gonna work so after some scrap hunting decided to go with some plate aluminum.

decided to try my hand at some detail work on the plates with a cordless drill and wire brush, looking for a scalloped pattern

got the twin e-fans and radiator permanently mounted, all wired , soldered , and shrink wrapped, man sefugi has got a super clean sense of flow when it comes to wiring, routing, painting, installing flux capacitors, you name it if hes involved , half ass wont cut it its either ready for the judges to inspect or its nothing!

summit came through with the wrong radiator hose, but they overnighted the correct one with clamp and a water neck 90 degree swivel, pics to come after install and maybe a teaser video,
