If i run a second battery in back, can I run the negative terminal of the back battery just to the car's body?.... or do I have to run a negative cable from the front battery back like the power?.. I'm guess since the negative is grounded to the car I can just drill and bolt it to the car ... like in my trunk area

yep just ground to the frame

If I buy wire for my big 3 online at knukonceptz, there are 3 wire choices.. are all 3 fine? I'm getting 1/0 for sure but I mean where you can choose either KCA Kable/ KLXM Kable/ Kolossus Flex Kable. Does it matter which one I get or will any of those 3 be perfectly fine for my Big 3/ Which is best. I am leaning towards the $1.75 because obv. its cheaper and Im assuming the one thats $1.95 is the same but more flexable.. and then the one that is around $3 is overall better wire? I'm planning on ordering some wire for my big 3 tonight or in the morning so I wanna make sure before I spend the money lol. Thanks guys!

Welding cable, Knu is CCA, which isn't as good where welding cable is copper and the same price.

Why is that? Personal experience or what?

More for your money, the float voltage of a Xs is around 13.4v on the other hand a Kinetik is around 12.4.

When buying a battery from say amazon you have to factor in the shipping costs.. You may see the 150 price tag then they don't tell you the shipping is 100 dollars +.

I would disagree with your statements. XS power are good batteries, but so are Kinetik. I don't know why, but the XS Power supporters seem to spend a lot of time trying to put down Kinetik's products, but you don't really see the reverse being true.

I don't know the float voltage of a XS, but since I had to take my DMM back out to my garage anyways I checked the rest voltage of my 3 or 4 year old HC1800 (that I've never recharged/reconditioned during that time) and it was sitting at 12.9V. Not that float voltage is really an indicator of how well the battery will perform under load anyways. But it seems you are hellbent on "proving" XS Powers superior, apparently even if that means you need to give out inaccurate info.....so I'm not sure I'd trust your XS numbers either.

Posting a picture of a swelled Kinetik doesn't prove anything other than abusing a battery will damage it. XS Power batteries will swell when abused aswell, as will any other brand.

Someone is riding Kinetik pretty hard up there.

I'd say it looks more like someone is riding XS pretty hard......

That was in response to what i said.

Big thing, are these REAL kinetik batteries? You may get no warranty, you may get fake batteries when buying from Amazon because Amazon doesn't do all the selling, they're a lot like Ebay.

I understand what you're saying.

I am surprised that there are only two battery companies being talked about here. My choice for any vehicle and especially ones where car audio is a factor would be Batcap hands down. My buddy runs his car and about 1500 watts (2 amps) off of their Batcap 800 with never any problematic voltage drops ever. The 800 is like a mini battery. Their 3000 would be a perfect fit for your application and would provide more reserve than you will probably ever need. Now if you plan on running your system without the car running for long periods, which I think you said you would not be, the two previously mentioned might be better choice. My .02 and keep in mind I'm no battery expert.
