Do you want voltage of the whole vehicle, or voltage at your amplifiers where you need to monitor?

Is there a distribution block you can wire it too?

No distro then just wire it up to the back battery(s) where the amps positive and negative connect too.

You could put in two or three...Two for sub amps and the third for over all vehicle. Kind of overkill though.

I'd put it on the back battery anyways. That's probably going to be the lowest point in the car when there's current pull.

Sorry for the threadjack, but what do you think about a voltmeter in the cig lighter? Does it give the voltage of the car ? Can it be accurate, just to have a general idea of the car electrical system ?

Is it better to run a voltmeter on the distribution block, near the amps ? I have only one battery, under the hood.

Sorry again Bangin' !
