Us amps

wondering what these amps do power wise I know a guy who has one or maybe it was the VL-200. He said 1000watts or 600watts don't remember. Think he wants like $300 for it. for a used old school amp that may or may not last a couple years I figured I'm over it.

was thinking it'd be nice to have though. I recently sold my USA50 that never once gave me such as a hiccup of a bad time . not too loud but still. never had a single time where it went into protect on me or anything like that...

thinkin it'd be nice if the bigger amp did the same for years of playing...

For $300 you could probably get something that puts out equal if not more than that amp.

well those old usamps the USA/VL series are soon gonna start to become collectors items now that the new lines are out. I cant find any stats on that amp tho.

maybe someone with more knowledge on the history can help me out lol

It may be expensive, but it will be just as solid as your other amp. Expect it to last another 10 years given you don't abuse it. On the other hand, it seems the "older" amps stand up to the abuse a bit better.

I beleive it makes 1040 rms bridge at 4 ohms if im not mistaken . I called Us amps a while back about the specs on it b/c I seen the same guy sellign that amp for 300$ but my memory isnt so hot right now lol .

According to my 1995 Car audio Buyers Guide the VL-200 has a Mosfet Poer supply, 1 ohm stable design, 520 Watts Bridged into 2 Ohms. 4 Ohm rating us 100 x 2. THD .009, SN 112
