I was a mississippi state champion rookie doubles back in 94. I was a forward player. 6appeal was one of my partners in tournaments. I love playing this game.

I teach kids at the skating rink how to pass, shoot, and defend goals !!!

Nice. We need to play sometime then. I'm not to shabby myself. Still learning, as we all are I suppose.

Obviously the "defender" isn't used to seeing the snake.

(back in the day) snake shots were not usually dead row. Try not to outrun the ball on an average snake shooter, Better chance to block.

I perfer a strait pull shot or a snap rear pin.

I've gotten a bit rusty over the years but I still enjoy a great game. Anytime !!! :drink40:

Against a good player you can NEVER outrun the ball. If that is how you play defense I'll squash you as will any somewhat competent player. You have to be as random as possible and just make them take their shot.

Btw, 1 tenth accurate....NO WAY IN HELL. Perhaps it has a resolution of a tenth. HUGE difference. To get a tenth of a dB in accuracy at up to 160dB you are looking at a $9000 microphone and there is only one manufacturer in the world that can do it. It may be just as good if not better than a TL, but that has nothing to do with accuracy.

:lol2::lol2: M5, I'd bet you'd be one hell of a character to get drunk with. You and me would either in the first few minutes get along like best friends on tear the freakin bar down fighting all night. :lol2::lol2: either way I, I need to make a trip up north one of these days !!! Which would be more fun ?? stereos or fooseball ?? You throw darts and shoot pool ?? we'll fight over that too.

If your shooting a snake shot, old schoolers went for the long pull or push. most of the goalies would post deadrow and overrun the 3/4 spray because they were too wide in the first place. I always posted for the 3/4 and made the shooter go around me. most times it worked, tire them out. sometimes not. guess thats why I made a better forward player because I was left handed and had better passes and 5 row blocking energy. My favorite shot from the front was the reverse pin shot or push kick.

Damn, this brings back old memories ........... thanks guys ..
