So I commented on CoCook83's build for his SSA DCON 12". Another person suggested I start a new thread. Good idea!

The box that Argent Audio built for CoCook83 is awesome to say the least. I have been searching the web and local shops for just the right box builder. As luck would have it I discovered SSA, the forum, and ArgentA. A plus is that AA is local! I am buying the SSA 12" DCON S4 sub and want a box built to specs just like ArgentA. built for CoCook83.

At one point I was thinking of a none rectangular shaped box. See pic at the end of CoCook83's 2nd page of his box build. Anyhow I nixed that idea. I just figured I could make the most of the space in my trunk.

Anyhow I am back to the regular rectangular box shape. Built to SSA specs for the DCON 12" sub in it's OPTIMAL Ported Enclosure dimensions, w/a internal Volume of 2.25 ft^3, port area: 32.50 in^2, tuned to 30 Hz, w/kerf port/vent, double baffle, flush mount, that charcoal colored carpet, etc. etc. Basically a copy of CoCook83's box!

So ... like my topic title says ... "I want one!" Let me know what I got to do to get the ball rolling Argent Audio!

CoCooks box was flush mount only, double baffle would be another piece of MDF that the sub mounts to.

Did you want that or just like CoCooks (flush mount only)?

I thought that CoCooks had a double baffle. No I do not want a double baffle. I want it just like CoCooks!

BTW what will this box cost? I am local so I will not need shipping. I can pick up.

Hey Andrew (Argent Audio),

I was thinking about the color scheme of the box to be built by you folks at Argent Aud. Is it OK to get the box carpet BLACK (my trunk carpet is BLK), AND also to make the color of the Kerf port light gray? That way the awesome looking kerf port stands out against the black carpet!

BTW I am ready to send you a deposit or whatever you need to get this box build started. Just let me know if I should PM you my info or call it in.

Those dimensions are fine! The only thing I would like different is the carpet color to be BLACK, and the accent paint colors on the Kerf and flush mount to be LIGHT GRAY or something close to that.

Perfect. That is without shipping, correct? Because I live in the area and can pick-up. Do you require a deposit to get started or just the word "Go". If no deposit then let the build begin.
