SparkFun Electronics - DSO Nano - Pocket-Sized Digital Oscilloscope

seems pretty decent, not sure if it covers the ranges needed to detect clipping from HU and also to set my gains properly...Any input?

Thanks. :drink40:

Seem like a nice one, personaly I would go with a desktop oscope, but they can get prety pricy. But that handheld seems great.

Without stating a reason of why you want it, we surely can't tell if that will work. Most likely it would just be a waste of your money though.

I said in the first post I'd like to use it to detect when my head unit sends a clipped signal, and also my amplifier..

I was looking at the Nano also, but I don't think it will handle the power... I emailed the company but never got an answer back... If I ever find out, I will let you know as well... I am on the SMD forums and had someone tell me to use the Vellman HPS10SE and it is under $160... I probably will order that one...

That little one is pretty neat. I might pick one up for when I do mobile tunes on other peoples cars.
