FI Customer Service Suggestion (updates)

Well first off I'd like to thank FI for their amazing service up to this point (only been a customer for a few weeks and haven't used your product yet but amazing at answering customer questions and FAST!). I have asked a few times on her about updates of the BTL backorder but what I as a customer would like to see is a thread posted with daily or even weekly updates of different backorder or any other subwoofer issues. Maybe this is a dumb suggestion and you don't have time please don't bash me just wanted to through some input out there for you guys. Would love to know an update as of 8/10. THANKS and can't wait for my music machines :)

It's the same story..we don't know when we will have them. The magnets are held in customs...they have them and there is nothing we can do about it.

They can hold them for 1 day..they can hold them for 3 weeks..if not longer. US customs can do whatever they want to do..we're at the mercy of them.

No point in updating every day saying they are still in customs..it makes more sense to say they have cleared and we will have them on X date but until our shipping agency calls us and says that..it's still the same story :).

Sounds like it to me, basically just be as patient as can be and FI will update you personally when they get an update to your order. Thats what happens when you deal with buying customize sometimes. :drink40:

so what your trying to say is that that is a no?

It doesn't make any sense to tell everybody every single day that we're waiting on magnets. We got a few of them on our first container and they were not split how we thought they were going to..so the people who have been on back order since May got their orders filled.

When something changes, then everybody needs to know that it has changed. They'll be notified via phone or email...we can't call as many people that we have on the back order list and tell them every day that we're waiting on magnets, that's a huge waste of time..when they know we're still waiting on them to be cleared by customs :)

I think my suggestion got off track :s...I'm saying a sticky with the status of back order of woofers. Like BTL- waiting for customs, or BTL-recieved...update when necessary instead of everyday or every week...just a suggestion...

i'm confused so your going to call me everyday with information on my BTL order? i think thats wonderful... nobody calls me anymore anyways so i have plenty of minutes to use on my cell or they just get wasted.

no theyre not going to call you everyday just to tell you your magnet is in customs. What justin is requesting is a sticky that says BTLS-still in customs or BTLS- have been recieved. Similar to having a tracking number for a shipped item

Are any other subwoofers (SSD, BL, Q) affected by this magnet issue?

No offense but you guys are out of your minds. You know, and everyone else knows that custom pieces take time, especially from smaller companies. If you want your stuff sooner, let them work. Don't ask them to waste time on the computer making worthless updates, especially with an issue they have ZERO control over. Nobody has patience anymore.

Let's say august 30th they go on back order....sticky updates to what ever woofer on back order..2 months later everything is good update the status...wow wasted so much time they probably got no work done hahahah ....no one told them to rush there work so there is plenty of patience...I realize its gonna be over a month from the day I ordered the subs to receive them...if not longer...I'm missing a few competitions and for the competitions is why I ordered them. I never cancelled my order and went with (2) dd 3515s that local audio shop significantly dropped prices on...so your telling me I have no patience? Simple updates put all at ease, not to bash FI it just sucks when there a company that's hard to call and talk too. Updates on forums how convenaint when they already do A LOT of forum time...by the looks of how many times they reply to stuff..or we can just forget the idea its to difficult apparently...

Which is why there are huge flashing red letters on the website that says the status on them. They were on back order..we haven't changed it because..that hasn't changed because we still do not have magnets. If you want me to change the date I can..but there's no point in that as they are in customs we should have them very soon. (If all goes well and they quit messing around)

I can make a thread that says they are on back order...but not as many people go to the forum as they do the website. I made threads in here in the past about back orders that we have had and simply stopped doing it because people would not order the products while they were on back order. They would wait until the day would come and pass and then we would get 75 orders for them in 1 day with people thinking it's going to be 3-7 days before they get built..which isn't the case and why I don't do it anymore.

When people didn't order them it simply messed everything up. They were thinking they were going to be able to spend the money and get them as soon as they come off back order according to the website and then they don't end up getting them for another couple months because we sell magnets faster then they can make them...which pissed more people off by far.

If you don't get your place in line, then you don't get anything and have to wait 2-3 months.

We're working on ways to not have to have back orders is the ideal situation...so it won't be needed.

I also made you a thread..that says everything i've said here. When we know something..everybody does. Until then it is hurry up and wait.

Hey thanks for the effort...that's all that matters..so if I ordered on july 27th I could be a few months? Or will the shipment at customs do work on most of the back order :s
