What should i be expecting???

Recommended Posts

So i had 2 l7 12s under my back seat... it was weak... so i took the backseat out and i told my buddy brian to build me a box (brian owns and manages evolutiuons car audio Lone Grove, OK) but anyways, i was expecting a huge box, instead he said 2 ported boxes at 3.3 cub would create the loudest setup at all possibilities. ill be pushing the l7s with a kicker 1500.1 zx. how loud am i looking? as far as DB wise... and was his plan correct??

X2 a common chamber has always sounded beter for me. It seem like the subs work together beter with a common airspace

i need some feedback about DB wise please

It depends on the install. You can't know until you try it.

IMO when ported a single chamber is better because with a bigger port you can move more air :)

Also, no one can tell you what should you expect in your ride with your install, what we can tell you is the numbers we got with those speakers in out ride and our install.

Good luck finding people with L7s on here :)

You should expect your vehicle to be filled with sub bass frequency waves :)

Going from sealed to ported will be louder (I assume your last boxes were sealed since they fit under your seats). How much and exactly how many DBs is a pointless question, don't even ask. Nobody knows.

Somewhere between office background noise and a space shuttle launch.

if u dont know, then u have no experience in what u may have heard in the past. saying that, db number is irrelovent to know because u probably do not know what any number sounds like @ whatever note so dont worry bout it
