DMM check coils, check wiring. Is your amp not turning on because subs don't "turn" on or off?

I pushed on the sub it moves freely. I had tested the amp with another sub and it works. The wiring going in is fine. Could it just be somehow both terminals got fried?

Pushing on the cone can only tell you that there's no noise from coil scratches. Get the DMM and read the coils. Get the sub out and look at the tinsels and check for physical anomalies.

How do you read the coils?

Get a Digital Multi-Meter (DMM) and put the probes in the coil and test the coils, make sure you have the DMM on the right setting as well.

Where was your subsonic filter set? Gains? Volume knob? Any bass boosting features on the amp or headunit?

People rn upwards of 4kw to a BTL and never have an issue..the only time there is a problem is due to somebody having something set up improperly.
