Thanks for any help

Huh?

what do you want to know>?

WOW, Lol sorry, internal volume before sub displacement and tuning.

Length x width x height / 1,728 = Gross internal volume.

Remember to take the wood thickness for the port (example - 3" wide should actually be 3.75" width etc.)

assuming .75" mdf, your around 4.8cubes and vaguely 32hz...

But first select the tuning you want and make port length adjustments, not the other way around..

is that 4.8 without port volume displacement...

the reason Im checking calculations is because i worked it out and got around 32 hz with a 3.66 internal volume...thats figuring for port displacement and for 15"btl which is .21 ft^3.

Thanks for your help guys just want to be sure im accurate

Assuming 3/4 inch MDF, after all displacements 3.73ft^3 @ ~35hz ~14.9 in^2/ft^3

I'd really seriously consider a double baffle and some bracing with the BTL.

I'd not only consider it, I'd make it mandatory. You're putting a very very very heavy woofer on 3/4" MDF is just a sign for disaster, are there any plans for bracing?

Not my box...but i am assuming he is going to want a double baffle as long as we can get it on one sheet of mdf...

I would really like this to be 32, how can you drop the tuning without a serious adjustment to the port length?
