Awesome news! Can't wait for photos and your thoughts on the driver.

I can say though, after spending $850, you won't want to spend anymore on replacing windows.

I would play it at a low-ish volume for about a half hour before cranking it.  ...but what do I know?  ;)

I've had my sub for a while now. Finally completed the box and put it in. Ran it for about 2 hours at low volume in a tiny box 1.25 is cu ft.

Turned it up in the new box and what gives?! This thing sounds worse than my 2 ed 10's. I was playing a burned copy of dave matthews. Maybe the sub can't breathe in the trunk (not big enough trunk). So I open rear seat and sound improves. Then toss in some rap. Wow!!!! That is one crazy loud 15" sounds good too.

Then I put in Mr. A-Z and it sounded great very tight bass response.

But then I noticed something I had my volume dial for the sub turned all the way down and it was too boomy. Couldn't turn vol control on head unit up past about 27.

The bass boost had to be turned down.

Unfortunately I have to pull the massive sub out of my trunk to do this. So I go to adjust bass boost and it was hardly on so I turned it all the way off. Played the sub again and it sounded flawless. SQ was incredible played the dave matthews again and it sounded great. I still have to turn the gain down a tad because as I said the vol control for the sub amp is turned off and the hu sub vol is set to -4.

This sub doesn't need any bass boost help from the amp that's for sure. I think this sub is more efficient than my 2 10's because I'm having to lower the gains and turning the bass boost off.

CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW GOOD IT SOUNDS! BUT I MAY HAVE TO SELL IT. IT TAKES UP ALL MY TRUNK SPACE. I DON'T THINK I CAN AFFORD TWO OF YOUR 12'S. What kind of db difference would there be between 1 15 and 1 12? I'll send you an email to see how much I can get a single 12 for.

New enclosure ?

Yeah it sounded decent in the 1.25 cu ft. Then I put it in the 2.5 cu ft enclosure I built and wow!!

It's almost frustrating trying to explain in words how good it sounds. Still don't have it dialed in yet either!

Yeah, 1.25 is much too small for the 15...glad you put it in the 2.5!!

you'll still be happy with 1 12 in a 1.6cu ft box with a good amount of power.

I don't think I can sell it now. I've fallen in love. It does everything I ask it to. I can play it quiet with nice sq. I'm just waiting for someone at a stoplight to role next to me blasting their sub then I'm going to let mine lose. It's like the sub adapts to every kind of music. Like it knows how to play rap and how to tighten up for kick drums in rock. I've turned it up loud enough to where my ears hurt afterwards, but I don't think I've maxed the sub out yet. Before I do this though I want to make sure my gains are set good. But really there's no need to play it any louder. I need to find a place with an oscilliscope or whatever it called.
