Welcome to SSA, I would suggest starting a new topic in the Fi or subwoofer sections. :)

Well find a way to get something close to original packaging before sending it in to avoid further damage to the sub. You also need to figure out if you were clipping it or whether or not you didnt have enough voltage to keep the amp with power, find out the source of why your sub stop working before reconing and just dropping it back in to have the same thing happen.

Then package it well... Build a box out of wood to secure it, and use those foam pool toys (the long strings with a hole through them) and cut those and place around driver and box so there's no "play" and ship away :P

Ditch the line driver. My guess is that your overdrove your amp and clipped the hell out of your sub.

How did you have the setting on the amp and line driver? Like Gains Crossovers and bass boost?

Is the amp still functional ?

Hearing static through the subwoofer is weird, makes me think the amp went south.

The setting on the line driver i had it to where it was sending about 6 premamp volts to the amp so it didnt have to be ran as high. the bass boost was all the way off on the amp and the gain was about a quarter of the way turnt up. && Im gonna hook the amp up today to see if it is still functional. Can anyone post a wiring diagram of how to wire up the BTL dual 1 ohm to 1 ohm? When i seen the smoke i kinda snatched everything out!
