Would I need a H/O alternator or another battery to run an AQ2200D? The stock one is 150amp and im looking to either run an HDC3 18" or FI BTL 15" in an 02 Trailblazer.

It is going to be for music. Not much interest in taking just that much to competitions. I would still like to get it as loud as possible for just an every day vehicle.

Use all 1/0 wire, do big 3, and run a second battery in the rear.

Thanks bro. I have the 1/0 wiring kit already and was planning on doing the big 3. Didn't know about another battery or bigger alternator though.

Since you have a nice size alternator I would get another battery for now and see how that holds up against the way you play your system, if your voltage drops a lot then start looking into an HO Alternator. It doesnt hurt to start pricing alternators now so you will have an idea of what you will need to spend when the time comes.
