From: 03 GMC Crew Cab Duramax Sysyem Help

Recommended Posts

my truck is a 2003 GMC 2500HD Crew Cab Duramax Diesel SLT,

i plan on getting to 40s rear seats instead of the 60/40 seat combo therefore giving me room in between the two seast for a decent sized box that can be built on top of or around the lower custom installed sealed box for 10in vocal subs once im directed where to to go to buy the best 10in vocal speakers out since i have no clue as far as SQ or vocals. But anyways my box builder said he can fit anything i want and have it ported and tuned, therefore this is where i need the main help, wat sub or subs should i go with, and further more wats best amp/sub combo for ur choice of sub,

  • These just couple of my ideas on subs=
  • 15n Orion HCCA
  • 12in Orion HCCA
  • 15in Fi BTL Fully Loaded
  • 15in Fi BL Fully Loaded
  • 15in Audioque HDC315-A
  • 13in Elemental Designs 13Av.2 Subwoofer
  • 13 Boston Acuostic SPG555
  • 12in Orion XTRPRO
  • 13 W7
  • 15 Kicker L7

I kno theres alot ore great brands like DD,SSA, RE XXX, RE SX, JBL, please tel me of any other that are as god or better please like i said im learning i dont kno how...

Remember if u leave ur opinion on witch woofer to choice please breiefly explain why and wat amp u would use and how would u have it set up, thanks alot guys makes big difference.....and dont forget if u kno great 10in vocal speakers or atleast a brand to look into would be a big help also, thanks

Really leaning towards getting nasty amp and strapping it to a 15in HCCA, 13in Eternal Designs 13Av.2, or the 15in Audioque HDC315-A, or 13in JL Audi W7 mainly because they seem to put out the most power and most reliable to take a beating on daily abuse and want more and from all the reviews they all semm great except for the 13in W7 being way over priced lol, bu tlet m ekno wat u guy sthink so i can hear the pros for once and soak up the info...
