So my friend bought a Lanzar MaxP1200 (for some reason) and he proceeded to changes his (3) 30A fuses to (3) 40A fuses because he said that the bigger the fuse the better.

Now, in my head it seems like the amp was rated at 90A for a reason but i dont know shit about fuses.

So, by changing the fuses, is he screwing things up?

Indeed he is, He's on the way to frying his amplifier.. i doubt that amp puts out rated, but if the voltage drops and begins to pull more amperage (Volts*amps=watts) He could fry it.

That's what I tried telling him, he's an idiot.

He's one of those friends that act like they know everything and you just agree with them befcause you dont feel like arguing.
